What we collect

Hokia Labs, Inc. collects account identifiers, authentication records, company and policy information you submit, model specifications, demonstration examples, corrections, API request content, token usage, and operational logs. Policy files are parsed in your browser; the resulting fields and examples are sent when you submit a model.

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate users, research and compile your policy, learn and evaluate customer-specific steering artifacts, serve model requests, meter usage, prevent abuse, support the pilot, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioral advertising.

Processors and disclosures

We disclose data as needed to infrastructure and service providers, including Cloudflare for the website, API, database, and network; Resend for email login; GitHub or Google when you choose social login; Parallel for organization research you request; and managed GPU or model infrastructure for steering, evaluation, and inference. We may also disclose information when legally required or in a corporate transaction.

Retention, security, and deletion

We retain account, model, evaluation, feedback, usage, and security records while needed to provide the pilot, resolve disputes, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. Model deletion revokes the serving artifact and deletes its application records and usage events. We use access controls, hashed serving keys on the GPU runtime, encrypted transport, and secret-authenticated service boundaries, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children and customer deployments

The OpenSteering account and dashboard are for business users age 18 or older and are not directed to children under 13. A customer planning a child-directed deployment must contact us and enter appropriate data terms before sending children's personal information. The FTC explains that covered child-directed services may require notice, parental consent, security, retention, and deletion controls in its COPPA compliance plan.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account information, and may object to or restrict processing where applicable. California residents can learn about state privacy rights from the California Attorney General. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights.
